You Matter

This is specifically for you. Yes, you reading this right now. I want you to know that you matter. Don’t rush. Take your time and read this. You matter. It’s not because of the things you’ve done or a title that you have. You matter because you are a living, breathing human being. It does not matter what mistakes you’ve made in your past or what wrong turns you may have taken in life, you still matter. You are still a valuable person. You are still loved. You are important. Yes, YOU! I just want you to know that you are special. Even if no one ever tells you that, it is still true. I know you feel as if you’re overlooked at times. I know that life gets hectic and you may feel like nobody acknowledges you or the things that you do. For all of those moments and all of those times that you may have felt underappreciated, I just want to say Thank You! Thank you for who you are and all the things that you do. Someone’s life is better because you’re in it. Better yet, the world is a better place because you exist. I get it. Times may be very challenging right now. You may even be mentally drained. Hang in there. You’re going to get through this. It’s in you to overcome. I just need you to believe in you. You are special because of who you are. You were created to be an original. You do not have to try and fit into the mold that others have formed. It’s ok to just be you. Why? Because you matter. You have value. If no one ever says these words to you again, know that I’m saying them to you today. You matter. You are somebody. I do not care what the world says or thinks about you. God created you. And for that one reason alone, you are special.
